Booking.com Mulls Acquisitions

Booking.com Limited is seeking acquisitions. Booking.com will focus on diversifying its properties in the United Arab Emirates in the coming years, according to the company's top executive. Darren Huston, Chief Executive of Booking.com, said in an interview on June 9, 2015, “It plans to add more guesthouses, apartments and villas to the site, which mainly features hotels. What we've been doing is adding long tail properties, so going from hotels to guesthouses, apartments and now focusing on individual villas that are rentable. On being asked whether Priceline looks to strike an acquisition this year, Darren Huston said that currently it will focus on growing its existing businesses, but has not ruled out acquisitions.
