International Market Centers Announces Executive Changes

International Market Centers has hired former Renee Loper-Boyd as vice president of marketing and has promoted a number of managers. Loper was most recently the vice president of marketing and business development for Bassett Furniture, and earlier was with Aspenhome. At the company, she will be responsible for marketing initiatives in High Point and Las Vegas and will report to Karen Olson, who has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing. Olson will lead the development of all marketing strategies and will manage the marketing teams in High Point and Las Vegas, including brand marketing, creative and digital media team, public relations, corporate communications, retail relations and call center functions. Julie Messner has been promoted to senior vice president for furniture leasing High Point. Previously vice president of home furnishings leasing for High Point, Messner will be responsible for leading the furniture leasing team for the company's 6.7 million square feet of space in 14 properties in High Point, including the recently acquired Commerce & Design Building. Philip Knott has been promoted to vice president of operations services. Formerly the director of operations for event programming, Knott will oversee operations services, special events and housekeeping for the Las Vegas and High Point campuses. Renae Brown has been named director of strategy. Previously manager of strategy, Brown will continue her current duties and take on the additional role of managing publications and sponsorship functions. Cassie Catania-Hsu has been promoted to leasing director, Gift + Home, from leasing manager, Gift + Home. She will play an integral role in the housewares launch on the 11th floor of Building C in Las Vegas and will continue to report to Terence Morris. Andy Maiden has been promoted to director of internal communications. He was previously the director of operations-development and communications, and will report to company's senior vice president of human resources, Carolyn Conley.

William F. Lacey has been named chief financial officer for International Market Centers, operators of the World Market Center in Las Vegas and key High Point Market showroom facilities. Most recently, Lacey was an executive vice president/CFO for GSE, a Houston manufacturing company.
