Southern Airlines to launch Guangzhou-Nairobi route on August 5, marking Chinese carriers' resumption of routes connecting China and Africa. Chinese carriers operated routes connecting China and African nations including Anglo and Nigeria previously, but suspended the routes gradually. The company to see Beijing-Amsterdam route adopt A380 from June 20 and this will be the first time for it to adopt A380 in a China-Europe route.
