Landscape Forms Launches Two New Lighthearted Chairs
Jul 29 15
Landscape Forms introduced TOTOTO and Zed: playful, colorful, user-friendly chairs from marketing partner Maxdesign, an Italian innovator in contemporary design. TOTOTO is a one-piece molded armchair. Designed by Studio Hannes Wettstein, its generous cross-section provides hefty material thickness for strength and stability. The chair’s sides and back are designed to reveal the form of the seat, lending the chair a sensual shape. Zed, designed by Hannes Wettstein, is a Z-shape molded chair that takes its name from the shape of the armrest as it joins the seat and back. Its four legs are made of solid steel rod for durable performance in active settings. Legs are powdercoated in silver. TOTOTO and Zed have integrally colored injection molded polypropylene shells offered in red, graphite and cold grey. Both stack, have drain holes in the seats, and are recyclable.

Oct 30 14
Landscape Forms introduced Arne, a light inspired by the renowned Danish architect and product designer Arne Jacobsen, and the latest addition to Landscape Forms’ collection of lighting solutions for outdoor spaces. Arne from Santa & Cole combines design in the high modernist tradition with 21st century LED technology. Arne is a versatile light. Elegant in its formal clarity, rational in its use of material as well as highly functional, it works beautifully in a variety of contexts. Arne can be used as a pendant light, a wall-mounted lamp, a catenary, or a floodlight fixed to a column, and compliments traditional and contemporary architecture in defined and open settings. Arne provides exceptional LED energy efficiency with a useful life of 60,000 hours, and is easy to install and maintain. Its LED optics offer street or flood light distribution and the Arne luminaire can house multiple LED arrays to provide 18 or 36 LEDs in both street and flood versions. Arne provides adjustable light intensity and color temperature, and with full 360° rotation, can be used to light all aspects of the environment from walkways and buildings to monuments and trees. The Arne luminaire is made of recycled and recyclable die cast aluminum with a tempered glass cover. All metal is polyester powder coat finished; standard and custom colors are available.
Landscape Forms Offers LED Outdoor Lighting
Dec 6 13
Landscape Forms announced the introduction of Candela, the latest addition to its offering of LED outdoor lighting. Candela, from Barcelona based global partner, Santa & Cole is a higher, brighter LED street/area light for the urban streetscape. Designed by Gonzalo Mila, Candela combines sophisticated form with high-efficiency LED technology. Minimal in design, the slim oval-shaped luminaire is a stylish step up from the standard cobra-head street light fixture and its die-cast aluminum housing is designed to dissipate heat and increase longevity. Max in function, arrays of up to 96 energy-efficient LEDs, poles up to 32 feet tall, and arms in two lengths deliver high light output and broad reach. Candela is available in pole heights of 8 meters (26.25 ft.), and 10 meters (32.75 ft.). The luminaire mounts on an arm, offered in medium and long lengths, enabling lighting designers to provide desired illuminance for areas of varying dimensions. Two Candela luminaires can be mounted on a single pole: back to back or at different heights in opposite directions. Candela provides excellent light quality, high energy efficiency, long life, and controls uplight to support dark skies. Lights meet UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory) and CE (Consumer Electronics) requirements. The powdercoated cast aluminum luminaire is offered in medium and dark grey. Aluminum poles can be finished in six standard powdercoat colors. All aluminum is fully recyclable.
