Emerson Network Power Co., Ltd. Key Developments

Emerson Network Power Introduces Liebert CRV 300mm, its Next- Generation Row-Based Cooling Solution Designed for Small-And Medium Sized Data Centers and Network Closet Applications

Emerson Network Power has introduced the Liebert CRV 300mm, its next- generation row-based cooling solution designed for small- and medium- sized data centers and network closet applications. Now available throughout Asia, this innovative solution provides maximum cooling capacity with minimum footprint. The new Liebert CRV comes in a compact 300 millimeter width to fit seamlessly within a row of racks to deliver energy efficient, high capacity cooling close to the server heat source. The small footprint of the Liebert CRV 300mm is also ideal for modular deployments and offers double the footprint capacity of the standard air-cooled row-based system. The Liebert CRV 300mm is rated to perform over 3.3 EER. Its built-in DC inverter scroll compressor operates with the R410A eco-friendly coolant, and cooling capacity can be adjusted from 30% to 100% depending on requirements. Flexibility greatly reduces the frequency of start-stop operations of the compressor, making it more stable and reliable. Modularity also allows the Liebert CRV 300mm to closely adapt to the dynamic change of heat load in small- and medium-sized data centers, significantly reducing start-stop cycles compared to the conventional compressors and ensures a more stable and reliable operation.

Emerson Network Power Introduces the Alber Battery Xplorer Software Platform

Emerson Network Power introduced the Alber Battery Xplorer software platform. This new software improves visibility and maximizes the availability of critical power systems dependent on stationary back-up batteries by translating data into actionable insights that enable smarter, faster decisions. Emerson Network Power launched the user friendly software platform at Battcon 2015, which runs through May 14 in Orlando, Florida. The new Alber Battery Xplorer software platform provides real-time visibility across the entire battery infrastructure so organizations can view issues that previously were unseen and address them before they become problems that threaten the availability of critical power systems. The Alber Battery Xplorer software platform is comprised of two software suites, Battery Xplorer (BX) and Battery Xplorer Enterprise (BXE). The Alber BX comes standard with Alber battery monitoring systems and is used to set up and configure these systems. Both the Alber BX and BXE provide real-time monitoring, alarm and event management, report generation, and data management capabilities. Reports have built-in decision support that analyzes the data and provides suggestions for the best corrective action. The Alber BXE software is web-based and includes additional functionality and management capabilities for enterprises with battery systems located at multiple sites.

Emerson Network Power Announces Significant Enhancements Across its Portfolio

Emerson Network Power announced significant enhancements across its portfolio, ensuring security capabilities for government, multimedia, broadcast, financial and IT operation center environments. Available in North America, Europe, Australia and Japan, all of the enhanced solutions address two critical customer concerns: enhanced security and increased remote monitoring and management. The new enhancements include a firmware upgrade to Emerson's Avocent ACS Advanced Console Server, which enables secure data access and management. The Avocent ACS 6000 firmware release, available for download on May 7, 2015, delivers faster time to value for large installations with zero-touch provisioning. Additionally, automatic network failover to 3G/4G/LTE cellular communications provides an alternate path to critical assets in the event of a network outage. Other notable enhancements in the product line include: The Avocent Universal Management Gateway (UMG) is the only consolidated management appliance enabling secure, centralized remote management of any device in any location. The latest enhancements simplify integration with Emerson Network Power's Trellis platform and allow the Avocent UMG to recognize server software versions and automatically push the latest version to any server, helping to eliminate software or firmware vulnerabilities. Emerson's Avocent AV analog KVM switch family is expanding with new offerings that provide enhanced security capabilities. Available in May, the new switches can be upgraded from analog to digital with the purchase of a USB digital key. This provides enhanced flexibility and an economically attractive remote solution for small data center environments. Emerson's Avocent DSView management software enables unified, secure, out of band management of all connected IT and network devices. Emerson's Avocent Rack Power Manager (RPM) software enables visibility and management of socket-to-rack power consumption and integration with the secured Avocent DSView data center model, significantly reducing RPM implementation time, improving staff productivity and data center power optimization. Emerson's Avocent Matrix Digital High-Performance KVM system delivers fast, secure, reliable connections between multiple users, servers and peripherals in the control room of the future. These high-performance environments must support multiple video formats with a broad range of resolutions and ensure anytime, anywhere access.
