Telekom Sales and Services Sdn Bhd Partners with Bank Simpanan Nasional to Expand Distribution Network

Telekom Malaysia Bhd's (TM) unit, Telekom Sales and Services Sdn Bhd has signed a three-year collaboration agreement with Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) to expand its distribution network. In a joint statement, the entities said the partnership would provide the public access to TM services via authorised banking agents (EB BSN) nationwide. Under this initiative, TMpoint TM Authorised Dealer (TAD) are also given the opportunity to be part of EB BSN agents, which will not only elevate the capabilities, business value, and profitability of the TAD outlets as a one-stop centre for TM customers, but will also ensure sustainable entrepreneurship of both TAD and EB BSN.

Bank Simpanan Nasional Introduces Two New Products

Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), in an effort to get close to the people, introduced two new savings products which will be available through a chain of more than 5,200 registered agents nationwide. Customers have to bring along their MyCard, for biometric confirmation, and a minimum cash of MYR 20 to the nearest registered agent to open an account. The service is connected directly to a Point-of-Sale terminal which is hooked up directly with the BSN system for the transaction to be made without filling up any forms.
