Defense Acquisition Regulations System (DARS), Department of Defense (DOD), has issued a final rule called: Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement: Contractor Personnel Supporting U.S. Armed Forces Deployed Outside the United States (DFARS Case 2014-D023). The final rule, published in the Federal Register on Aug. 26 by Jennifer L. Hawes, Editor, Defense Acquisition Regulations System, states: DoD is issuing a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to provide updates and clarifications regarding requirements for contractor personnel supporting U.S. Armed Forces deployed outside the United States.
