Alameda Health System (AHS) announced Michele Lawrence as the incoming president for the AHS Board of Trustees effective July 1, 2015. Lawrence succeeds Kirk E. Miller, who has served as president since January 2013. Lawrence joined the Board in November 2012, and has served on the Finance Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Quality Professional Services Committee. Outgoing Board president Miller will remain a member at large through the end of his term in December 2015.

The Alameda Health System (AHS) Board of Trustees appointed Delvecchio S. Finley as Chief Executive Officer during their board meeting. Finley will begin his new position in August as the top executive. Finley currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Harbor-UCLA Medical Center; a role he has held since October 2011.
Daniel Boggan Names as Interim CEO for Alameda Health System, Effective December 15, 2014

Alameda Health System (AHS) announced that its Board of Trustees unanimously named Daniel Boggan, Jr. as interim CEO. While Boggan's tenure will officially begin on December 15, he is already in close communication with AHS' current CEO Wright L. Lassiter, III to ensure a coordinated transition. As interim CEO, Boggan will serve as the principal liaison between AHS senior management and its Board. He will focus on accomplishing the components of AHS' strategic plan and to ensure short-term financial success. Boggan served on AHS' Board of Trustees from 2005 to 2014, led the Board as President from 2010 to 2013, and served on the CEO Search Committee that brought Lassiter to AHS. Since Lassiter announced plans to leave AHS for the Henry Ford Health System, the AHS Board has worked diligently to ensure that strong leadership is in place to guide the organization.
