Telenor Hungary Announces Management Changes

Mrs. Alexandra Reich was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Telenor Hungary and Executive Vice President (EVP) of Telenor Group. Reich will be part of the executive management team in Telenor Group and assumes the position no later than 1 November 2016. Reich will succeed Christopher Laska, who will take on new responsibilities within Telenor Group. Alexandra Reich has served as EVP and Head of Mobile Business for Swisscom Enterprise since 2014, after joining the Swiss company in 2009. Christopher Laska has been appointed Senior Vice President (SVP) Board Governance and Partner Relations Asia and will support the Board of Directors in Telenor's Asian business units. Laska has served as CEO of Telenor Hungary since January 2011 and has previously been CEO of Telenor Montenegro and Head of Corporate Affairs in Telenor Serbia.

Telenor Hungary reported earnings results for the fourth quarter of 2015. For the quarter, the company reported total revenues in local currency decreased by 5%. The negative impact from lower interconnect Revenue was partly offset by increased handset sales. Revenues grew to NOK 1.175 billion from NOK 1.150 billion a year ago. EBITDA was NOK 280 million against NOK 279 million a year earlier.
