BizBash Officially Launches in San Francisco; Announces Board Appointments to San Francisco

BizBash announced that the company is officially launching in the San Francisco Bay Area with a celebration on April 9.

David Wilkes, executive vice president of sales at BizBash Media, announced that five members of its sales team have been promoted to new positions. Mandana 'Mondi' Valiyee will become vice president of sales, West Coast where she will be responsible for launching of BizBash San Francisco as well as other markets including Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Denver. She was previously director of national accounts and West Coast development. Sue Babin will become vice president of sales, Midwest, expanding her current portfolio to major markets including Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis, and Milwaukie, as well as the Chicago metro. Ann Keusch will become vice president of sales, Southeast, responsible for all of the southern territory including Florida, Atlanta, and New Orleans. She was previously the Florida publisher. Mara Piazza will become director of digital sales, responsible for driving digital media sales initiatives. She was previously a senior account executive. John Marte will become director of exhibitor and sponsorship sales development, responsible for creating new approaches in engaging face-to-face attendees at BizBash events.
BizBash Media Appoints Mandana Valiyee as Director of National Accounts

BizBash Media announced that Mandana Valiyee has been named director of national accounts. She was previously the BizBash west coast publisher. Valiyee will report to David Wilkes, vice president of sales, and will be responsible for working with the entire BizBash sales team to develop national border-less marketing partners for the company's media and event properties. She will also lead business development initiatives for new market expansion with existing team members in markets including San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and San Diego. She will also focus on specific vertical targets including destinations, convention centers, event agencies, national food and beverage brands, and media buying agencies.
