inge GmbH Secures Major Contract in India

inge GmbH has secured the project to supply high-capacity ultrafiltration technology for a desalination plant in Jamnagar (India). More than 4,000 modules from the T-Rack ® 3.0 series will provide 450,000 cubic meters of pretreated water per day to oil refineries. The desalination plant is built by IDE Technologies and will use inge ® UF to protect the sensitive reverse osmosis membranes and to minimize the energy footprint of the plant. After multiple sea water pretreatment steps, the desalination plant will deliver up to 170,000 cubic meters of process water per day. The German-made modules are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2014.

inge GmbH and Aquasource Enter into Long-Term Cooperation Agreement

inge GmbH and Aquasource have agreed to enter into a strategic cooperation effective April 1, 2014, with each company focusing on their respective competences. Aquasource will choose inge patented Multibore membranes for all types of water, where a UF in-to-out technology is suitable. Within this cooperation, inge will concentrate on the development and production of UF membranes while Aquasource becomes a center of excellence for membrane systems. Both partners target to combine technologies to provide customers with even better solutions. Aquasource provides engineering, processes and applications and selects the best membrane technology for the customers needs.
