Mobilink has expanded its 3G network coverage to 100 cities across the country. The company commercially launched 3G services on the local market in July 2014. To support its 3G services, Mobilink's fiber optic network currently spans over 6,000 kilometers.

Mobilink announced that it has expanded its 3G network coverage to ten new cities, including Chunian, Farooqabad, Ganda Singh Wala, Gujjar Khan, Hafizabad, Harripur, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Raiwind and Talagang. The company's 3G network now covers 53 cities across the country. Mobilink is also offering free 3G trials in these seven cities until 25 May.
Mobilink Reports Earnings Results for the First Quarter of 2015

Mobilink reported earnings results for the first quarter of 2015. For the quarter, revenues were down 3% to PKR 25.3 billion. The ongoing Sim verification security exercise dampened results and is expected to weigh on revenues for the rest of the year. EBITDA was down 5% on an annual basis to PKR 9.7 billion. Capex fell by 53% to PKR 2.6 billion after the 2G network upgrade was completed in 2014.
