Styrolution Closes Polystyrene Site in Sweden on Lower Demand

Styrolution is to close its polystyrene (PS) production site in Trelleborg, Sweden, by the end of 2014, on the back of decreasing demand, affecting the employment of its current 51 workers. The production site has a capacity of 80,000 tonnes/year of PS. The company said it will keep open its other PS production sites in Antwerp, Belgium, and Wingles, France.
