Sumo Logic Logic Delivers Machine Data Analytics to Microsoft Azure Marketplace
Sep 21 16
Sumo Logic has announced that it has joined the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, providing real-time business operational and security insights into infrastructures and modern applications running on Microsoft Azure. In addition, Sumo Logic has released two new certified offerings for Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), as well as the ability to ingest log and host metrics data from any Sumo Logic supported OS collector. The Sumo Logic Azure Audit offering provides visibility into Azure Audit Logs and Active Directory data and highlights what actions were taken on resources in a subscription (for example, the creation of virtual machines, starting websites, dropping databases, Active Directory actions by user and more). Sumo Logic delivers the ability to view this data in real-time as well as enable historical analysis which is critical for compliance auditing. The Sumo Logic Azure Web Apps offering lets developers easily monitor and visualize the health of their Web Apps environment via preconfigured dashboards, providing immediate visibility into server and application errors, response codes, where people are coming from, response times, data traffic over time and more. The new certified offerings for Microsoft Azure, along with the corresponding applications in the Sumo Logic Apps Library, will help organizations: Accelerate Cloud Migration - Migrate to Microsoft Azure faster with confidence by mitigating application performance risk via powerful automated metrics and log files analytics; Visibility Across Hybrid Environments - Visualize and run operations and security on your workloads in real-time, identify issues and expedite root-cause analysis across Azure, other clouds and on-premise environments, from the infrastructure and up to the application stack; and Strengthen Security and Compliance - Monitor user access, platform configurations and changes across all Azure and on-premise workloads as well as generate audit trails to demonstrate compliance (e.g. PCI, HIPAA, etc.).
Sumo Logic, Inc. Announces the Availability of its Sumo Logic App for Amazon Web Services
May 25 16
Sumo Logic, Inc. announced the availability of its Sumo Logic App for Amazon Web Services(AWS) Lambda allowing DevOps and developers to monitor the health of all AWS Lambda functions and better manage the associated costs. In addition, the Sumo Logic Lambda blueprint is now available to route Amazon CloudWatch logs to Sumo Logic for advanced analysis and real-time visualization. The Sumo Logic App and integration enable deeper, real-time visibility into building serverless applications and optimizing AWS deployments. AWS Lambda lets developers run code at scale with high availability, without provisioning or managing servers. Users pay only for the compute time they consume, while running code for virtually any type of application or backend service with zero administration. Integration with Sumo Logic's cloud-native machine data analytics platform allows developers to: Analyze operational and performance trends across all the AWS Lambda functions in an account; Gain visibility into the costs of AWS Lambda functions and optimize resources where appropriate; and Track the adoption and performance for different versions of a single AWS Lambda function such as resizing an application to fit a mobile device, tablet or laptop, which can help evaluate the impact of that particular function.
