The Wagner Law Group announced that Bruce J. McNeil, a preeminent ERISA and employee benefits attorney, has joined the firm as a partner, effective as of September 6, 2016. Mr. McNeil is considered one of the country’s foremost experts in the area of nonqualified deferred compensation and has testified as an expert before the United States Senate Committee on Finance on executive compensation matters.

Marcia Wagner, the Managing Director of The Wagner Law Group announced that Livia Quan Aber and Ellen Stone, distinguished ERISA and employee benefits attorneys, will join the firm, effective May 2, 2016. Ms. Aber, joining the firm as Of Counsel, previously held positions specializing in ERISA and employee benefits at law firms, a financial institution and a consulting company, as well as in the U.S. Department of Labor. Ms. Stone joins the firm as a Senior Associate with broad ERISA and estate planning experience. She has advised clients on a wide variety of issues, including statutory, regulatory, fiduciary, administrative and operational issues related to qualified retirement plans, tax-sheltered annuities, nonqualified deferred compensation and welfare plans.
Thomas E. Clark Joins Wagner Law Group

Wagner Law Group announced that Thomas E. Clark, Jr., a renowned ERISA and employee benefits lawyer, has joined the firm. Mr. Clark's expertise encompasses all aspects of employee benefits programs, including the design, implementation and compliance of retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive and incentive compensation arrangements. He has a robust practice assisting covered service providers in meeting their ERISA compliance needs. Mr. Clark is a well-seasoned litigator complementing the strong ERISA and employment litigation department, which will be expanding in 2015. Earlier in his career, he worked for Schlichter, Bogard & Denton including on such landmark cases as Tibble v. Edison, which will be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court on February 24, 2015. The Wagner Law Group has offices in Boston, San Francisco, Tampa and Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, and St. Louis, where Mr. Clark will be resident.
