Drinker Biddle & Reath Announces Management Changes; Effective Feb. 1

Drinker Biddle & Reath said that Andrew Kassner, who has been the firm's executive partner for more than a decade, will become the 630-lawyer firm's chairman and CEO, effective when it's new fiscal year begins Feb. 1. He succeeds Alfred W. Putnam Jr., 63, who has served in that role since 2005. Kassner, 54, who splits his time between Philadelphia and Wilmington, has been with the firm for 28 years and run the firm's bankruptcy practice for two decades. In his role as executive partner, Kassner has taken the lead in strategic decision-making, such as major acquisitions in Chicago and California.
