Hong Kong Airlines and Etihad Airways Sign Codeshare Agreement to Provide Travellers with Enhanced Connections Between Asia, the Middle East and Europe

Hong Kong Airlines and Etihad Airways have signed a codeshare agreement to provide travellers with enhanced connections between Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Subject to regulatory approval, passengers of Hong Kong Airlines will benefit from enhanced access to key destinations across the Middle East and Europe under the partnership, with Hong Kong Airlines' 'HX' code being placed on Etihad Airways' triple-daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Bangkok, together with two upcoming services that will connect Abu Dhabi to Madrid from 29 March 2015 and to Hong Kong from 15 June 2015. Etihad Airways will place its 'EY' code on Hong Kong Airlines' flights between Hong Kong and Bangkok, allowing business and leisure travellers to book a round trip between Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi via Thailand's capital. In addition, the code will appear on flights between Hong Kong and Okinawa, a popular tourism destination in Southern Japan. Flights under the codeshare agreement can be booked from 23 December 2014 via travel agents or through the airlines' sales offices and contact centres. Passengers can travel from 6 January 2015, or in the case of Etihad Airways'Hong Kong and Madrid services, from the launch dates.
Hong Kong Airlines to Launch Changchun Route

Hong Kong Airlines announced that it will launch flight service between Hong Kong and Changchun, commencing on 29 December 2014. Airbus A320 will be deployed on the route, operating on Mondays and Thursdays. Hong Kong Airlines always strive to satisfy passengers' every travel need, offering them friendly and attentive service. A new five time weekly service between Hong Kong and Sapporo, Japan will soon be launched on 19 December 2014, bringing the route network to a total of almost 30 destinations in the Mainland China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. The company also operates frequent daily flights from Hong Kong to cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Hangzhou and Okinawa, providing passengers with abundant travel choices and quality service.

CGN Power Co. joins two Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Airlines Ltd. which plans IPO in 2014. Dalian Wanda is seeking to raise $6 billion, Hong Kong Airlines is planning to raise $500 million while CGN Power plans to raise $3 billion. CGN Power will start the process in November 2014.
