Looxcie, Inc. to Exit its Consumer Business

Looxcie, Inc. announced that it will exit its consumer business and focus on live video streaming services for the enterprise. The decision is based on strong interest from the corporate sector that shows solid demand for a SaaS video streaming solution. As part of the plan, Looxcie will: Close down the consumer line of cameras, services, and support for the current Looxcie customers and partners. Vertical Solutions, Inc. and Vidcie Partner to Transform Field Service with Live Mobile Video

Vertical Solutions Inc. announced it is partnering with Vidcie to integrate its video-streaming technology with VSI's enterprise Service Lifecycle Management solution, VServiceManagement. This joint solution will change the field service dynamic by bringing the problems to the experts, rather than bringing the experts to the problems. Companies can better leverage senior and expert technicians, improving both call resolution times and customer satisfaction. Vidcie's streaming video solution connects technicians and experts in real time, is hands-free, and operates across all mobile networks. Field technicians will be able to simply click a button from within VSI's VServiceManagement solution on mobile devices to connect via live video stream to one or more of their company's expert resources for help with troubleshooting and repair. Supervisors will be able to log in, monitor, and watch any service call. Each interaction will be able to be recorded and saved in the client record within VServiceManagement, as well as repurposed within the company's knowledge base. Unlike commercially available webcam and video-over-IP solutions, the Vidcie-VSI solution will be completely mobile, is hands-free, offers management controls, and enables video viewing on any mobile or desktop browser.
