Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. announced that it will open a new office in Pensacola, Florida to accommodate current and future growth in the technology market in the Florida's Panhandle. Salient has strategically chosen to open an office in Pensacola in the support of the area's vital operational and training missions that are dedicated to enhance the readiness of the U.S. Navy, its related armed services and other customers. Salient's newest U.S. office will allow Salient to provide local engineering, IT, cyber, training, and program management for customers in the Florida Panhandle region. The office incorporates Salient's integrated Program Management Control Center (PMCC), a program command and control center that provides continuous monitoring of contractual related activities and is tightly integrated with Salient's Talent Operations Centers (TOCs); bringing the power of technology for managing the dynamic flow of mission tasks and people. Geographically, the new office will support business operations as far north as Huntsville, Alabama, as far west as New Orleans and Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, and to customers the east such as Tyndall Air Force Base.

Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. announced partnering with STS Systems Integration (SSI) LLC to provide English Language Training (ELT) to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) at Sheppard Air Force Base (AFB) in Wichita Falls, Texas. This two-year period of performance is a firm-fixed-price contract that has a potential value of $2.8 million. Stability in the Middle East is enhanced with nations that can defend themselves and participate in coalitions supporting common objectives. Many of these nations, including Saudi Arabia, operate U.S. military systems and English is the critical first step toward successful employment and interoperability. Under this contract, Salient will provide ELT for up to 200 RSAF students as part of the Master Training Plan supporting RSAF training for its F-15SA Fleet Modernization Program.

Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. announced four promotions within the company's senior management team. JD Kuhn has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Controller, Finance; Larry Rose has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Contracts and Procurement; Paul Bander has been promoted to Vice President, Contracts and Pricing; and Sean Delaney has been promoted to Vice President, Capture and Proposal Operations. Mr. Kuhn joined Salient in 2010 as Vice President and Controller and has significantly improved Days Sales Outstanding performance and implemented numerous improvements across the company to achieve cost savings. Mr. Kuhn leads the Accounting and Finance function which is responsible for delivering timely, accurate financial information to a host of internal and external users. He is responsible for Salient's Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Independent Audit oversight processes and relationships; development and implementation of domestic and international tax strategy. Prior to joining Salient, Mr. Kuhn served as a Senior Vice President at SI International similar to the role at Salient. Dr. Rose joined Salient in 2010 as Vice President of Contracts and Procurement. As Salient has moved into commercial and international work, he successfully led a cross functional team of executives to support this important area of business growth. Dr. Rose leads the Contracts, Procurement and Pricing function which is responsible for supporting virtually all organizations elements within the company. He provides leadership on contracting and pricing matters; oversees the subcontracts and procurement functions; supports the business development capture process and serves as the Salient Ethics Officer. Dr. Rose has held a number of executive leadership positions with federal contractors most recently including ICF International and DRC. Mr. Bander joined Salient in 2011 as Director of Pricing and recently led the Salient Labor reclassification project earning the company's high achievement the Pinnacle Award. Mr. Bander provides both strategic and tactical proposal pricing support. This includes: identification of structural opportunities to improve competitive positioning; working with cross functional teams to develop and implement recommended courses of action and implementing winning pricing strategies across the company. Prior to Salient, he held senior leadership positions at BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman Corporation, and Federal Data Corporation. Mr. Delaney joined Salient in 2010 as the Director of Corporate Capture Management. Over the past four years, he led and accelerated key critical captures for Salient's base business and recompletes. Mr. Delaney leads key corporate pursuits and the proposal operations team. Mr. Delaney's focus will be on continuously creating business efficiency and strategic customer solutions while enhancing the management and generation of profitable operating results. Prior to joining Salient, he held numerous executive roles including General Manger, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, and Director of Sales.
