Beresford-Wylie, who takes up his new position in August, will replace outgoing chief executive John Cresswell who stepped down from the role earlier this month. Beresford-Wylie joins the firm from Samsung Electronics, where he was based in Korea as a special advisor overseeing a review of the strategy and operations of the company's network business.
