Reed Smith LLP Appoints Jess Drabkin as Partner

Reed Smith LLP announced that it has added Jess Drabkin as a partner in the firm's global entertainment and media industry group in New York. Drabkin was most recently a partner at Grubman Shire & Meiselas. He specializes in corporate and executive compensation matters and spent more than a dozen years as a corporate finance lawyer in venture capital and private equity. He began his legal career at Reavis & McGrath (now the New York office of Norton Rose Fulbright) and O'Sullivan Graev & Karabell (now the New York office of O'Melveny & Myers LLP).

Reed Smith Seals Alliance with Resource Law

Reed Smith has entered into a formal alliance with Resource Law. Through the alliance, Reed Smith will be able to cater for clients needing Singapore law advice, having first mooted its hope to establish a tie-up a year ago. Alliance firm Resource Law is made up of nine lawyers in total and is led by Mohan Subbaraman, who moved from Ince & Co's alliance firm Incisive Law last October. The tie-up will increase Reed Smith's total lawyer headcount in the city from 20 to 30. The firm first entered the Singapore market in 2012.
