AOL Hires Penny Harris as International Head of Revenue

AOL announced that Penny Harris is joining the business as International Head of Revenue. In this newly created role, Harris will be responsible for driving the company's international business and revenue, as well as growing AOL's value proposition outside North America. Harris will have a particular focus on driving revenue through AOL's programmatic and video platforms in Europe and Asia. She will also be responsible for revenue across AOL's owned and operated sites in the regions, which currently have an average of 120 million monthly unique visitors. Harris will manage a team of multi-market sellers in London, as well as 10 regional sales offices, reporting to Graham Moysey, Head of International and Jim Norton, AOL's Global Head of Media Sales. Harris joins AOL from Microsoft Advertising Global, where she held the role of Senior Director of Multinational Sales. In her 13 years at Microsoft, she led, developed and managed high-performance multi-national sales teams responsible for servicing cross-screen advertising solutions for brands and media agencies.

AOL UK announced that John Baylon is joining the company as Head of UK and European Trading. Baylon will focus on driving the relationships with major and independent holding companies and agency trading groups, to further strengthen the company's position in the market. He joins from Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), where he was most recently Head of Trading. In this role, he will report into Noel Penzer, Managing Director of AOL UK.
