Infosys Public Services Implements Financial Management Solution for L.A. Care Health Plan to Improve Healthcare Access

Infosys Public Services announced that it has successfully implemented a premium billing and payments solution for L.A. Care Health Plan. This solution will help improve access to health benefits for 24,000 members on its L.A. Care Covered™ plan offered through the Covered California health insurance marketplace. Infosys Public Services implemented Benaissance's ExchangePoint financial management platform to simplify the user experience. It also integrated the new system with L.A. Care's existing TriZetto QNXT application to enable smooth data exchange. The solution modernizes L.A. Care's billing and payment processes to better serve members in the Los Angeles community. It ensures easier access to subsidized health benefits that are offered through Covered California, under the Affordable Care Act. As part of the project, Infosys Public Services implemented key business functions including Invoicing, Member Effectuation, Payment Collections, Member Outreach, Grace Period Handling for Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC) and non-APTC members. The solution was implemented in a stringent 12-week timeframe. Infosys Public Services pooled its state marketplace experience, premium billing and payment functions expertise, and its knowledge on Benaissance ExchangePoint and TriZetto QNXT platforms to achieve these results. The accelerated rollout enabled L.A. Care to comply with the California state timeline for member renewals and open enrollment for 2015. By employing an iterative data migration approach for go-live, Infosys Public Services helped L.A. Care avoid business discontinuity and disruption due to the system switchover.

Prime Therapeutics LLC Selects Infosys Public Services, Inc. to Set up Testing Center of Excellence and Consolidate IT Services

Infosys Public Services Inc. announced that it has been selected by Prime Therapeutics LLC (Prime Therapeutics), to set up a testing center of excellence (COE) and consolidate the delivery of its application testing services as part of a new three-year contract. Prime Therapeutics will streamline and optimize its quality assurance (OA) and testing services as well as enhance its competitiveness with Infosys Public Services' expertise and world-class delivery model. Prime Therapeutics also expects to expand the capabilities of its OA organization and gain efficiencies in managing a large scale QA department. As part of the contract, Infosys Public Services will consolidate and standardize Prime Therapeutics' QA and testing services, currently provided by multiple service providers. Infosys Public Services will support Prime Therapeutics' QA organization as they deliver across all lines of the business and increase the agility of the QA department.

The U.S. District of Columbia Extends Contract with Infosys Public Services

The U.S. District of Columbia has extended its contract with Infosys Public Services. Earlier, the District signed a $49.5 million agreement with Infosys Public Services in January 2013 to develop its Health Insurance Marketplace, the DC Health Link. One of the first state-based marketplaces to be operational on schedule on October 1, 2013, DC Health Link offers health insurance options to over half a million residents and small businesses. Under the new agreement, Infosys Public Services will modernize the legacy eligibility system and additional federal and local health and social programs for the U.S. District of Columbia. Infosys Public Services will leverage the foundational capabilities developed in 2013 to enable the District's agencies to collaborate with their constituents to achieve sustainable health and social benefit outcomes.
