The National Wildlife Federation announced that Mike Shriberg will serve as the next regional executive director of its Great Lakes Regional Center in Ann Arbor, Mich., effective February 19, 2015. Shriberg succeeds long-time center director Andy Buchsbaum, who was named NWFs vice president of conservation action in November. Shriberg joins the National Wildlife Federation after serving as the education director at the Graham Sustainability Institute at the University of Michigan, where he taught, led undergraduate and graduate sustainability programs, and helped integrate sustainability into academic and operational functions of the university.

The National Wildlife Federation has announced that Andy Buchsbaum is being promoted to vice president of conservation action, overseeing NWFs regional and state conservation work, field offices, and relationship with the organizations 49 state-level affiliates. Buchsbaum previously served as regional executive director of the National Wildlife Federations Great Lakes Regional Center in Ann Arbor, Mich., and interim executive director of the National Wildlife Federation Action Fund. Buchsbaum also co-founded and for eight years served as co-chair of the 115-member Healing Waters Great Lakes Coalition.
National Wildlife Federation Announces Management Changes, Effective July 7, 2014

National Wildlife Federation announced that its board of directors has appointed Delaware Secretary of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Collin OMara to serve as the next President and Chief Executive Officer effective July 7, 2014. He will succeed Larry Schweiger who is retiring May 2, 2014 after serving for 10 years as NWFs President and CEO. Secretary OMara will be joining NWF from the state government of Delaware where he has led the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control since 2009. Prior to his current position, OMara served as the Clean Tech Strategist for the City of San Jose, California, where was the primary architect of the City of San Joses Green Vision and as the Director of SyraStat for the City of Syracuse, New York, where he oversaw the Citys performance management and accountability program.
