Opanga Networks and the Kapsch CarrierCom Announce New Partnership at Mobile World Congress 2016

Kapsch CarrierCom and Opanga Networks announce the formation of a new strategic partnership to bring the next generation of network optimization solutions to mobile operators throughout Europe. Opanga’s Network Coordinated Super Scheduler (NCSS) solution has been proven globally with operators to enable a 40% growth in traffic-carrying capability over existing 3G and 4G cell sites. The NCSS solution is deployed on existing commercial hardware in the mobile operator’s SGi-LAN data centers and is NFV/SDN ready. Kapsch CarrierCom has almost 800 employee’s focused on delivering networking solutions to operators around the world and will bring tremendous experience and scale to rolling out NCSS. The Kapsch CarrierCom/Opanga solution is unique and is the only software network optimization platform in the world that requires no custom hardware and is easy to integrate with the operator’s mobile network or external content delivery networks. While older network traffic optimization solutions are now being re-marketed as encryption-capable, NCSS is the only fresh-thinking design built specifically for the challenges of cellular networks and the realities of todays encrypted OTT traffic.
