Steve Becker Joins Continental Automated Buildings Association Board of Directors

Kimberly-Clark Professional Steve Becker has joined the Continental Automated Buildings Association's (CABA) Board of Directors. Kimberly-Clark Professional will be represented on the CABA Board by Steve Becker, Global Leader of Open Innovation and Integrated Solutions Architecture, who is based in Roswell, GA. Becker is responsible for driving the technology strategy for multiple product categories and market segments, as well as establishing and managing external partnerships to support the commercialization of Kimberly-Clark Professional's innovative solutions. He has more than 20 years of experience in developing and protecting innovative solutions across a wide range of industries including intelligent buildings and smart homes.

Thread Group Partners with Continental Automated Buildings Association

Thread Group has entered into a reciprocal agreement with the Continental Automated Buildings Association. CABA's charter promotes open standards for connectivity in homes and buildings, which dovetails with the Thread Group's goal to enable IoT interoperability. The leadership of both groups agreed that increased collaboration would further their mutual objectives and enable both organizations to deliver increased value to their memberships. The group noted, this agreement focuses on sharing information and working together on issues that matter to both organizations. Specifically, CABA and the Thread Group can now establish forums and exchange information on connected home and intelligent building issues and plans, and share information on key topics affecting the development and implementation of home and building automation.
