LSG Sky Chefs Extends Contract for Lufthansa First Class Lounge in Munich

LSG Sky Chefs extended its existing contract for the operation of the Lufthansa First Class Lounge in Munich Airport, Terminal 2. Additionally, the company was able to win the contract for the new Lufthansa First Class Lounge in the Munich satellite terminal. The new building is scheduled to open in April 2016. Under these contracts, LSG Sky Chefs continues to provide management, service and food production for the lounges. The Terminal 2 lounge, with an area of 860sqm, opened in August 2007. Since then the Munich team has provided premium products and services to Lufthansa First Class passengers and HON Circle members.
LSG Sky Chefs Expands Business in South Korea

LSG Sky Chefs announced that it offers services at three of the busiest airports in South Koreawith joint venture partner, Asiana Airlines. The two other airports served are Seoul Incheon and Seoul Gimpo. Presently, the Busan facility is dedicated to Asiana but will extend services to other airlines starting in 2015. The facility is housed in a refurbished building that was transformed into a modern catering facility with a production area of 1,350 m² and a capacity of 4,000 meals per day. Busan is located on South Korea's southeast coast and Seoul.
LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG Wins SunExpress Contract

LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG announced that the company won a five year onboard retail (Buy-on-Board) contract with SunExpress through its group company Retail inMotion (RiM). The deal includes the entire SunExpress network and will commence on July 1, 2014. The new contract comes in the wake of the carrier’s decision to give passengers the personal choice of differentiated service-levels during their flights. SunExpress will offer bespoke pre-ordered packages tailored to individual needs, combined with a rich Buy-on-Board product for scheduled passengers.
