Acculynk was awarded a multi-year contract with Birmingham Water Works to deliver a multi-channel payment and bill presentment platform for the citizens of Birmingham, Alabama. The company's omni-channel solution includes mobile, Web, point of sale and IVR. These channels will uniquely support the company's internet PIN debit solution - PaySecure, as well as credit card, signature debit, PINless debit, government issued debit cards, pre-paid cards, ACH. Specifically, the company's PaySecure solution permits PIN enabled debit card users to enter their PIN for e- and m- commerce, ensuring a second layer of authentication and a more secure transaction. Citizens of Birmingham will also benefit from online/mobile bill presentment of their paper bill. The company will also offer an enhanced customer relationship management module for Birmingham customer service representatives to mange billing questions from their constituents. The online portal will also provide enhanced reporting for Birmingham Water Works Finance and Customer Support personnel. After an extensive evaluation with many other providers in the sector, the Birmingham Water Works Board selected the company based on its differentiated value proposition and the enhanced security provided by its patented authentication and encryption framework. The platform is expected to go-live in the third quarter of 2015 when Birmingham Water Works will switch from its incumbent provider.

Q2 Holdings, Inc. announced its partnership with payments technology company Acculynk to provide real-time person-to-person (P2P) payment solution through Acculynk’s Payzur service. The leading next-generation P2P payment product provides the fastest, easiest and most secure customer experience for Q2’s more than 360 financial institutions and their end users. Payzur allows financial institution (FI) customers to send funds simply by authenticating the mobile- or web-initiated transaction with their bank issued PIN via Acculynk’s patented online graphical PIN pad. Payzur is simple for customers and because it is not ACH based, there is no enrollment or waiting period to use the service once offered by their FI.
