El Camino Hospital and Satellite Healthcare announced they have entered into a joint venture partnership designed to provide enhanced care to local residents with chronic kidney disease. Five of Satellite Healthcare’s in-center dialysis and home dialysis therapy centers (Satellite WellBound) in the El Camino Hospital service area will serve El Camino Hospital patients, who will receive the high-quality care and services that are hallmarks of both El Camino Hospitaland Satellite Healthcare. These centers are located in Los Gatos off of Los Gatos Saratoga Avenue, Mountain View off of El Camino Real, and two in San Jose, one in the Silver Creek neighborhood and the other across from Santa Clara Valley Medical Center off of Bascom.
Satellite Healthcare Appoints Glenn Davis as Chief Innovation & Commercial Officer

Satellite Healthcare reported that Glenn Davis has joined the organization in the newly created role of Chief Innovation & Commercial Officer. The Company noted that Davis, who will lead Satellite Healthcare's growth and innovation initiatives, brings more than 25 years of experience in the renal care industry, including positions as Vice President of Growth at Lifeline Vascular Access, a Strategic Business Unit of DaVita Kidney Care; Chief Operating Officer at Optimal Renal Care; and Baxter, where he served as Area Vice President of Sales for the Renal Division. Davis worked closely with Satellite Healthcare during his time at Baxter; the two organizations collaborated to create one of the first Treatment Options Education programs in the country and also innovated a capitated supply pricing agreement for home peritoneal dialysis patients.

Satellite Healthcare has named Pamela Molano as Vice President of Physician Services. In her role, Molano will manage and enhance the organization's relationships with the hundreds of physicians currently in its network and build partnerships with other top physicians in the field of nephrology. Molano brings to her new role 35 years of healthcare experience, during which she accomplished strategic and operational change in integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, hospitals, medical groups, and disease management companies. She joins Satellite from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, where as Interim Leader. Prior to that, she was Interim Chief Operating Officer at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego.
