Unified Office, Inc. Launches SDN-Based Total Connect Now(SM) Unified Communications 3.0 Service Platform

Unified Office, Inc. announced at the Enterprise Connect Show the availability of its new Total Connect Now (TCN) 3.0 Hybrid Private Cloud service architecture based on the Unified Office adaptive Highest Quality Routing (HQR)(TM) software. Independent testing from the University of New Hampshire's Interoperability Lab (UNH-IOL) has verified that Unified Office raises the bar for Unified Communications end-to-end service quality and reliability. The testing included various failover scenarios of the Unified Office fault tolerant HQR architecture while running under load. The testing verified that current calls continued while new calls were placed on the highest quality path available at the time they were made increasing overall availability and quality of experience. The company, which sells its services through a network of channel partners, also announced the roll out of its new HTML5 based WebRTC applications. Unified office integrates and simplifies an array of communications technologies creating an always relevant, easy-to-use innovative virtual office service, that enables customers to seamlessly communicate from anywhere on the device of their choice. TCN 3.0 with HQR dynamically adapts and ensures that the highest quality path is always selected for end-to-end communications. Additional highlights of the TCN 3.0 Service Architecture include: Cloud-based Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery "shadowing" of customer-premise (primary) servers; users able to communicate via a primary and shadow server; flexible Broadband Multi-Service Integration options including fixed/mobile service gateways (Cable, 4G/LTE) integration for optimal on-premise Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery; innovative HTML5-based and WebRTC communications applications such as web based receptionist consoles enabling new virtual office environments. This new release augments Unified Office's already reliable, highly available, geographically diverse, premise and cloud-based Total Connect Now service and network architecture for the SMB marketplace. It is available immediately to all Total Connect Now users as part of their enhanced virtual office service.
