He joined the Cooperative in 1991, as manager of Governmental & Community Relations and promoted to vice president in 2000. Goodlett is responsible for working with various state, federal, local governmental bodies and agencies. Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida announced that Matthew B. Hoffman was promoted to VP- Marketing & Business Development of the company. Hoffman is responsible for analyzing the markets for and advising on sales of raw sugar and molasses produced by the Cooperative. He also works closely with the refining arm of the business, ASR Group, on understanding the key drivers of the world and domestic markets and their influence on pricing and production. Additionally, Hoffman has been tasked with identifying future opportunities to enhance the value of the company to its grower-members. Previous to joining the company, Hoffman worked for Dow AgroSciences, where he worked in various marketing and sales management roles.

Charles W. Lucas was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida at its Sept. 19, 2013 board meeting filling the unexpired term ending January, 2015 held by the recently retired Chairman George H. Wedgworth. Lucas, of Ft. Myers, FL, earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Florida and has been active in Florida agriculture since 1981. He currently is president of King Ranch- Florida Division where he oversees the company's agricultural operations including citrus on the east and west coasts and sugarcane, sod, rice and winter vegetable operations in the Everglades Agricultural Area.
