She is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional/US and also serves as a member of the Bloomberg BNA Privacy & Security Law Report Advisory Board.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals announced new roles within the executive committee along with the selection of three new directors including Jennifer Stoddart, Christine Frye, and JoAnn Stonier. The executive committee changes include the appointment of Scott Taylor to serve as chairman. The three distinguished new members of the board of directors continue the IAPP's tradition of representing the full spectrum of the profession worldwide, Christine Frye is senior vice president and chief privacy officer for Bank of America. She is responsible for leading the Enterprise Privacy and Cross Border Data Movement Compliance Program at Bank of America with global responsibility for overseeing compliance with related laws and regulations, establishing standards and policies, and implementing the company's compliance framework for Privacy and Cross Border Data Movement. Jennifer Stoddart is the former privacy commissioner of Canada. During her term as privacy commissioner, Stoddart oversaw a number of important investigations, including those concerning the privacy policies and practices of the popular social networking site Facebook and a massive data breach at U.S. retail giant TJX, which owns Winners and HomeSense stores in Canada. JoAnn Stonier is the executive vice president of privacy and information governance for MasterCard, responsible for worldwide privacy compliance and information governance for the enterprise. Stonier is responsible for identifying MasterCard's data strategy as an element of the company's product and business strategy as well as for the management of privacy and data protection compliance and regulatory engagement on a global basis.
