BT Global Services Wins Devon and Cornwall Police IT Services Contract

BT Global Services has won a contract from Devon and Cornwall Police for the provision of IT infrastructure and support services for five years, with the option to extend to nine years. Chief constable Shawn Sawyer said the contract will allow the force to make considerable savings as it enhances the 24 hour support given to IT systems. The force's current service provider, Capita, holds the contract until the end of March 2015 and will continue to develop specific IT products.
