UberMedia announced the appointment of Eric Aledort as Chief Business Development Officer. Aledort joins UberMedia from Yahoo! where he most recently served as VP, head of media for the global partnerships group, overseeing all strategic partnerships with content providers, commerce partners, resellers, production companies and other media partners. Eric brings an impressive amount of expertise in revenue driving partnerships and strategic relationships to UberMedia. As Chief Business Development Officer, Aledort will be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities and rolling out UberMedia's SaaS platform for mobile optimization to enhance in-app mobile advertising monetization. Eric has extensive experience in broadband distribution, mobile, social networking and identifying new businesses and will focus on UberMedia's newest Data location business for retailers, under the UberRetail brand.
UberMedia Launches Proprietary Tool to Connect Mobile Advertising to TV Audiences

UberMedia announced UberMedia's TV Extender product. With the TV Extender, advertisers can link TV investments to mobile in a variety of ways and drive incremental value by reaching the same audience across multiple screens. Advertisers can use the new product to run cross-screen messaging, reach the audience of a show outside of the designated viewing time or conquest consumers watching a television show where their ads are not currently running. The TV Extender product is powered by UberMedia's exclusive TV Viewer Programing Profiles that utilize thousands of first party targeting parameters including social signals, Twitter followers, video views, location history which mirror the audience of the existing television buy down to the household and device. The TV Extender also leverages UberMedia's measurement tools to provide data and insights not available with television buys. Outside of traditional engagement rates, UberMedia can look at location visits, and provide data to the advertiser on the impact of their campaign on consumers' visits to a location, such as retail stores, car lots, or restaurants. TV Extender campaigns are available to advertisers in all verticals, starting June 05, 2014.
