United Technologies Reportedly In Talks For Sale Of Sikorsky

United Technologies Corporation (NYSE:UTX) is in talks for the sale of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, according to people familiar with the matter. Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT), Airbus Group N.V. (ENXTPA:AIR) and The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) are among the companies exploring bids for Sikorsky or, alternatively, for a minority stake, some of the people added. Bids are due later in May 2015.

Finmeccanica Not Interested In Sikorsky

Mauro Moretti, Chief Executive Officer of Finmeccanica SpA (BIT:FNC) told the shareholders of Finmeccanica in a meeting that Finmeccanica received various propositions with respect to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. Mauro Moretti further informed that Finmeccanica is not interested in Sikorsky.
