Yingli Green Energy Holding is confident it can repay its liabilities, which include $1.6 billion in short-term loans and is looking for partners that can take additional shares as well as a strategic investor in the company.

Pakistan's Parliament House Goes Solar with Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited known as 'Yingli Solar' announced that Pakistan's Parliament House will be powered by 1 megawatt (MW) of high efficiency multicrystalline Yingli Solar panels. The project was fully funded by the Chinese government, and was inaugurated by the leaders of China and Pakistan on April 21, 2015. The Yingli Solar system is expected to generate approximately 1.6 million kilowatt-hours of solar electricity annually, offsetting approximately 2,500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. It is anticipated that the system will be completed by the end of June 2015, and that it will reduce the building's electricity costs by up to USD 27,000 per annum. China Railway 17th Bureau Group Co. Ltd. is in charge of the engineering, procurement and construction of the project and the company will supply its YGE 60 Cell Series panels for the project.
