Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited to Supply 40 Megawatts of Solar Panels to Sybac Solar in Honduras

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited announced that it will supply 40 megawatts (MW) of solar panels to Sybac Solar for two power plants in Honduras: the Pacific Solar project, located in Nacaome, and the La Manzanilla y Las Lajas project, located in Choluteca. Yingli is currently delivering 25 MW for the first phase of the 50 MW Pacific Solar project, which was developed by EM-Power Corporacion. The first phase is expected to begin operating in August 2015 and the second phase is expected to come online in 2016. Once complete, the power plant will contain at least 160,000 high-performing, multicrystalline YGE 72 Cell Series panels, which are engineered specifically for large-scale utility projects. Separately, Yingli is also delivering 15 MW of these YGE 72 Cell Series solar panels for the first tranches of the La Manzanilla y Las Lajas project, which was developed by Energys de Honduras S.A. de C.V. Once complete, at least 96,000 Yingli Solar panels will be installed in this utility-scale system.

Yingli Green Energy Signs Framework Agreement with Xi'an LONGi Silicon Materials

Yingli Green Energy (YGE) has signed a framework agreement with Xi'an LONGi Silicon Materials. The companies will cooperatively manufacture monocrystalline silicon wafers, and ingots, solar cells and solar panels. Yingli expects the new partnership to enable LONGi to expand into solar panel assembly while Yingli will be able to integrate LONGi's technology into its production lines. Under the terms of the deal the companies will collaborate to employ their respective manufacturing capacities, technologies and resources and Yingli will preferentially procure LONGi's monocrystalline silicon wafers.

Yingli Green Energy In Talks For Sale Of Project In Hebei

Yingli Connects a 50 MW Solar Power Plant to the Utility Grid in China

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited announced that it has connected its 50 MW PV power plant, located in Hebei Province, China, to the utility grid. The 50 MW PV power plant is the first and large power plant in Handan City, Hebei Province. It is expected to produce approximately 54 million kilowatt-hours of solar electricity each year, offsetting about 50,000 tons of carbon emissions annually. The project is also expected to generate annual revenue of RMB 54 million (USD 8.7 million) from national feed-in-tariffs for the next 20 years.

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited Supplies Venezuela's Solar Project

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited announced that it has supplied 1.1 megawatts (MW) of solar panels for Venezuela's solar project, a hybrid solar-diesel power plant located in Los Roques. The 1.1 MW solar farm was developed, engineered, and constructed by Consorcio Energias Limpias Alternativas Venezolanas (CELAV). Vico Export Solar Energy, a major regional solar product distributor, offered logistical and operational support for equipment procurement. This power plant is Yingli's first large-scale project in Venezuela: until recently, the Venezuelan market was concentrated in off-grid systems of 25 kilowatts (kW) and smaller, typically located in isolated regions. As the country's inaugural PV power plant, it contains more than 4,400 multicrystalline YGE Series solar panels. They are expected to generate over 1,400 megawatt-hours (MWh) per year, which is enough energy to power over 400 typical Venezuelan homes. The system began operating in May 2015.
