Tetra Tech Wins $35 Million Contract from District of Columbia for Environmental Services

Tetra Tech said that it has won a $35 million contract from the District of Columbia's Department of Environment to provide general environmental services. The scope of the contract includes technical support services related to the assessment and remediation of contaminated sediments in the tidal portion of the Anacostia River. The company said restoration activities will be implemented at sites throughout the watershed as part of large-scale efforts initiated by the D.C. government to revitalize the river and the surrounding communities.

Effective April 8, 2015, James R. Pagenkopf retired from his role as Executive Vice President and President of the Water, Environment and Infrastructure (WEI) segment of Tetra Tech Inc. Mr. Pagenkopf, who joined the company in 1976, is moving into a part-time position, supporting the company's U.S. Environmental Protection Agency programs and its key federal pursuits. Effective April 8, 2015, Leslie L. Shoemaker was named to succeed Mr. Pagenkopf as Executive Vice President and President of the WEI segment. Dr. Shoemaker joined the company in 1991, and served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives since 2008.
Tetra Tech, Inc. Wins $1 Billion Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract

Tetra Tech Inc. has been awarded a $1 billion multiple-award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID) to support the implementation of USAID’s Water and Development Strategy. Under the five-year Water and Development IDIQ, Tetra Tech will support USAID in responding to increasing pressures on limited water resources from climate change, population growth, and energy demands, by providing engineering and consulting services to improve access to clean water and sanitation, and strengthen global food security through the sustainable management of water in agriculture. Tetra Tech will support in collecting and analyzing data to evaluate emerging water issues, develop water management strategies, and design innovative approaches to improve the delivery of water services in developing countries.
Tetra Tech Wins $62 Million USAID Local Governance Contract

Tetra Tech Inc. announced it has been awarded a five-year, $62 million single-award contract funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to support the strengthening of the provincial government system in Afghanistan. This program will address many governance systems to improve the planning, development and delivery of public services. Tetra Tech will assist USAID to strengthen the linkages between the central government and provincial levels for strategic planning, budgeting and service delivery. Tetra Tech will provide advisory services and technical assistance to build information management systems, databases, guidelines and procedures to improve the implementation of essential public services.
Tetra Tech Lands Two Design and Research Contracts Worth $65 Million

Tetra Tech (TTEK) announced that it won a $45 million, 5-year contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide architectural and engineering design services, which will support projects including master planning, value engineering studies, and facility design. Separately, the company said it won a $20 million multiple-award contract from the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National Homeland Security Research Center to provide technical support services for the development of tools and technologies that will be used to quickly detect and mitigate contaminants in drinking water supplies, wastewater systems and urban areas.
