Sky Deutschland Releases Sky Online OTT Service to Android Smartphones and Tablets

Sky Deutschland has rolled out the Sky Online OTT service to Android smartphones and tablets. The online TV service is available as an app on the Google Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S4 mini, S5, S5 mini, Note 2, Note 3, Note 10.1, Tab 3 (7.0, 10.1), Tab 4 (7.0, 10.1) and Tab S (8.4, 10.5) devices. Sky Online offers two packages - Sky Starter for EUR 9.99 a month and Sky Film for EUR 19.99 a month.

Sky Deutschland appointed Gaetano Pannitto as its new Executive Vice President for Customer Group in Austria and Germany from May 1, 2015. Pannitto reports directly to CEO Brian Sullivan. In addition to his new areas of responsibility, he will continue to be responsible for the sales department within the Customer Group. Before joining the company, Pannitto worked at Sky Italia for Customer Marketing and Service and Sales Operations.

Sky Deutschland Reports Preliminary Earnings Results for the Third Quarter of Fiscal 2015

Sky Deutschland reported preliminary earnings results for the third quarter of fiscal 2015. In third quarter, total revenues grew to €455 million compared to €421 million a year ago. As a result, EBITDA for third quarter amounted to €22 million compared to negative EBITDA of €9 million a year ago, which is an improvement of €31 million year-on-year.
Sky Deutschland Announces Changes in the Management Board

Brian Sullivan, Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Sky Deutschland AG, will leave the company on June 24, 2015 in order to return to the United States. This was agreed between the company's Supervisory Board and Mr. Sullivan. The Supervisory Board has appointed Carsten Schmidt, currently Sky Deutschland's Chief Officer Sports, Advertising Sales & Internet, to succeed Mr. Sullivan. In the interim Mr. Schmidt will work alongside Mr. Sullivan in the role of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
