Rentrak Signs Agreement with AudienceXpress to Fuel Their Data-Rich Programmatic TV Platform

Rentrak announced that it has signed an agreement with AudienceXpress, a leading programmatic TV platform and subsidiary of Visible World, to establish the industry's first data-rich programmatic TV ad platform. Rentrak's TV viewing information will help fuel the platform. The platform, developed by AudienceXpress, will allow digital video and TV campaigns to be optimized together to help advertisers achieve unparalleled reach and frequency through a scalable, touchless TV inventory system. Rentrak's television ratings service is the only fully-integrated system of detailed nationwide satellite, telco and cable TV viewing information gathered from more than 31 million TVs and 117 million Video on Demand TV viewers in the U.S. and Canada. It also includes granular information for TV stations in all 210 local markets, projected to the U.S. population.
Carol Davidsen Joins Rentrak as Vice President of Political Technology

Rentrak announced political industry veteran Carol Davidsen has joined Rentrak as Vice President of Political Technology. With more than 10 years of experience in leading micro-targeting campaigns, Davidsen will oversee Rentrak's initiatives for political customers. Davidsen worked with Rentrak while serving as Obama for America's Director of Integration and Media Targeting in 2012. While working for the campaign, she developed a system called "The Optimizer," which analyzed television specific political demographics to help the campaign spend advertising dollars more effectively. Prior to that, she spent time at Navic Networks.
