Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. reported preliminary financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2015. The company expects preliminary second quarter 2015 revenue to be in a range of $350 million to $353 million. This compares with total revenue of $351 million in the second quarter of 2014 and $335 million in the first quarter of 2015. In addition, the company expects second quarter 2015 Adjusted EBITDA to be in a range of $59 million to $62 million. This compares with Adjusted EBITDA of $53 million in the second quarter of 2014 and $50 million in the first quarter of 2015. Finally, the company expects second quarter 2015 non-GAAP earnings per share to be approximately $0.12 compared with $0.09 in the second quarter of 2014. Allscripts announced East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust have each signed an agreement to deploy Allscripts PASTM. The Allscripts PAS will replace the Trusts' existing system and will empower the organsations to use a highly flexible and configurable solution to manage patient data. Allscripts PAS is used across the National Health Service (NHS) in more than a dozen trusts and hospitals.
Allscripts to Lay Off Employees at Raleigh Office

Allscripts announced that it is laying off employees at its Raleigh office. The company said the restructuring move will impact 250 jobs companywide, including 60 in Raleigh where it employs 1,200. The cuts are across the company's services, support, solutions management and selling, general and administrative functions.
