Hogg Robinson PLC Wins Multiple Awardees Contract for Travel and Venue Services

Hogg Robinson PLC has won a multiple awardees contract award from The Minister for the Cabinet Office acting through Crown Commercial Service to provide travel and venue services. Contract 1 - Provision of Domestic and International Business Travel Booking and Management Services, including Rail, Air and Accommodation, for Contracting Customer(s) with a 40 % or more bespoke Offline service. Contract 2 - Provision of Domestic and International Business travel booking and management services, including Rail, Air and Accommodation, for Contracting Customer with a substantial majority of Online transactions. Provision of Domestic and International Business Travel Booking and Management Services, including Rail, Air and Accommodation, for Contracting Customer with a combination of Online and Offline transactions including Visa/Passport services/implants, Air Chartering, Oyster Card, Coach /Taxi Services, Executive Service, Currency Services (Purchases, Ferry Services and Sharing Economy Solutions). Contract 4 is designed to provide a single service approach to cover the following Core Meeting & Conference Venue Services including: Conference booking service, events management, transportation of event equipment and delegate management.

HRG Consulting has launched HRG Optismart, a new scenario modelling tool that allows users to identify and visualize savings opportunities through changes to buying behavior, travel policy and online booking usage. Using a "what if" scenario modelling, HRG Optismart enables clients to develop a savings plan in conjunction with their individual objectives. This approach allows clients to set financial goals and targets across many areas of their travel program including: air, hotel & ground transportation programs; online booking behavior and tool usage; travel avoidance methods including video conference technology; and benchmarking against peers and industry.

Hogg Robinson Group plc announced interim management statement for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported that revenue was unchanged at constant currency compared to the prior year and down 3% on reported. While client travel activity was 4% higher, client travel spend was 1% lower year-on-year at constant currency and down 5% on reported, reflecting its ongoing work to help clients save money and maximize the value of their travel-related expenditure.
The company provided earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2016. The board believes the company will continue to show good progress and deliver a full-year performance in line with market expectations.

Hogg Robinson Group has appointed four new members to its executive committee. With immediate effect Kyle Ferguson, CEO Fraedom, Matthew Pancaldi, Global Client Management Director HRG, James Stevenson, Global Sales Director HRG, and Ian Windsor, Managing Director Europe HRG, join the senior Executive group consisting of Kevin Ruffles (COO), Bill Brindle (CIO), Keith Burgess (Company Secretary and General Counsel), with John Harvey continuing in his role as Group Marketing Director.
HRG and Visa Collaborate to Launches CTA Lodge Card Solution in Europe

HRG and Visahave partnered to launch a central travel account, or CTA, lodge card solution in Europe. Visa Central Travel Account is a centralised payment solution which combined with HRG's travel management expertise gives clients complete control and visibility of their travel spend. John Harvey, Group Marketing Director, HRG comments: The company have seen a growing demand among clients for a CTA. Driven by a need to get total visibility of travel spend, clients are actively seeking simple solutions to this perennial problem of how to pay for travel where the traveller does not have an individual card. The success of a CTA depends upon the availability of good quality, reliable and consistent travel data that can be matched to financial data. In working together with Visa, new Lodge Card solution delivers an enhanced data feed into Visa which enables Visa issuing banks and clients to have a more complete picture of expenditure.
