Societe d'Edition Canal Plus announced that the board co-opted newly appointed Canal Plus Group director Maxime Saada as an the company's administrator and named him as the company's managing director.
Canal Plus Unveils Cube S STB for OTT TV

Canal Plus has presented a new device, the Cube S, which allows customers to watch all of the channels and use all of the services in their channel package through a Wi-Fi connection at home or on the go. The Cube S is made by Technicolor. Canal Plus has also announced Suggest, a new recommendation engine to be progressively rolled out from September. Each family member will receive different suggestions based on their preferences. Some Canal Plus on demand content will be offered in Ultra High Definition, also from September. Finally, the MyCanal mobile app allows users to watch over 100 channels live or on-demand. Separately, Les Echos writes that the 8.5 cm cubed device requires a 2 Mbps Wi-Fi connection to function. Customers pay EUR 6 a month for the Cube S. There is a three month free trial for customers testing the CanalPlay SVoD service. Other Canal Plus offers, including Dailymotion, will be available on the new device in the future.
Canal Plus Announces Executive Changes

Canal Plus has appointed Patrick Holzman as director of international VoD, reporting to Canal OTT director Manuel Alduy. The group has also named Jean-Marc Lacarrere as director of CanalPlay, also reporting to Alduy. Holzman co-founded film website Allocine in 1993 before joining Iliad as audiovidual director in 2005, where he developed Freebox content, VoD and SVoD services. Holzman joined Canal Plus as CanalPlay director in 2012. Lacarrere started his career in Canal Plus's finance office in 1990, then worked for Content Participations, Bollore Media and its Direct Cinema co-production and purchasing subsidiary.
Canal Plus Appoints Xavier Gandon as the Director of the D8 and D17 Free-To-Air DTT Channels

Canal Plus has appointed Xavier Gandon as the director of the D8 and D17 free-to-air DTT channels. Ganon, who will report to deputy CEO for free TV operations Ara Aprikian, joined Canal Plus in 2012 as programming director for the two channels. He began his career at TF6/Serie Club, before being named TMC's head of programming. In 2010 he took on additional responsibility for NT1 in the same capacity.
SECP Reports Audited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Full Year Ended December 31, 2014; Provides Earnings Guidance for the Year 2015; Proposes Dividend, Payable on April 29, 2015

SECP reported audited consolidated earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2014. For the period, the company reported total revenues of €1,830 million against €1,882 reported a year ago. Guaranteed operating income was €65 million against €63 million a year ago. Consolidated net income was €40 million against €40 million for the same period a year ago. Net income attributable to the Group €40 million against €40 million a year ago.
For 2015, the company expects consolidated operating income will remain bounded by the distribution agreement with GROUPE CANAL+ and will be between €66.4 million and €74.9 million inclusive, up by at least 2.5%.
The company also announced that at the annual shareholders meeting on April 10, 2015, a dividend per share of 0.25 will be proposed. Subject to the approval of the general shareholders' meeting, the dividend payment date has been set for April 29, 2015.
