China Information Technology, Inc. entered into a five-year strategic agreement with Guizhou Dianxian Media Co. Ltd. to install 10,000 units of the CNIT elevator new media terminals in Guiyang, Zunyi and other major cities of Guizhou Province. According to the agreement, the China Information Technology will provide comprehensive new media solutions including the elevator new media platform, Cloud Nest data analytics, and 21.5-inch CNIT elevator new media terminals. Dianxian Media will be responsible for the marketing and operation of the elevator new media suites, and assist in the
installation of the terminals. Half of the terminals will be sold to Dianxian Media, and the other half will be rent to it, in either ways, the Company will receive monthly platform service fee from Dianxian Media.

China Information Technology, Inc. announced the change of its Chief Product Officer (CPO). Effective immediately, Mr. Guangzeng Chen has been promoted to be the CPO by the board of directors to succeed Mr. Zhishan Liang, who has resigned for personal reasons. Concurrently, the Company is re-aligning its R&D team with the Company's current market positioning as a cloud-based Internet of Things provider. Mr. Chen joined CNIT as VP of the Research & Development Division in March 2014. Prior to that, Mr. Chen was a project manager at CoolPad Group Limited, and one of the top ten smartphone companies in China from May 2011 to February 2014. Previously, Mr. Chen was the head of research and development at VideoHome from June 2004 to May 2011.

China Information Technology, Inc. announced that the Company has entered into a strategic agreement with the Linyi municipal government of Shandong province to implement the 'CNIT Internet + Smart Linyi' project. CNIT will leverage its proprietary Cloud-App-Terminal (CAT) technology and Cloud Nest data analytics to upgrade and transform the business models of various industries from education, elevators and healthcare to new media in Linyi. Smart Education will establish a regional platform to provide various interactive services throughout the education process. Smart Healthcare will resolve the long waiting time problem for patients and connect with hospitals' digital systems to provide full-service online healthcare. Smart City E Stop will provide an information distribution channel for the municipal government and daily services such as banking, employment, package delivery and payment. Smart Elevator will collect and transmit elevator operational data to the Bureau of Quality Supervision of the municipal government and elevator maintenance companies, enabling online elevator management, provide emergency support and create advertisement opportunities. The Linyi municipal government will provide rent-free office space to CNIT and facilitate the registration with the local Administration for Industry and Commerce and the Tax Bureau. The municipal government will also confer preferential policies on CNIT in talent recruitment and tax benefits.

China Information Technology, Inc. announced that the company launched the version 1.0 of its proprietary Cloud Nest Operating System (NOS) and began beta testing. Leveraging the Google Android OS technology, the CNIT NOS is an operating system custom built for information distribution for the new media industry. The company believes that the launch of NOS lays the technological foundation for the company's future growth, and demonstrates the emergence of the CNIT Internet Plus Ecosystem based on its Cloud-App-Terminal (CAT) model. The proprietary CAT model is an integrated application of Internet and Internet-of-Things technologies. Specially, Cloud refers to cloud server-based services, including networking, online file storage and backend applications. App refers to applications (terminal OS and cloud window) and management strategies (communication protocols and encryption algorithms) that connect terminal devices with cloud servers. Terminal refers to terminal devices such as digital displays and data aggregators. The company's Taoping Net is an application platform that utilizes the CAT model, with information distribution being one of its many applications. The new CNIT NOS offers four innovative features: 1) NOS is secure and stable as the operating system is custom built for new media applications based on the Google Android OS; 2) NOS is compatible with mainstream hardware, so third parties can easily install the NOS to connect their hardware to the Taoping Net platform; 3) NOS offers a standardized user interface that enables technology equipment positioning, electronic fence, near-field communications (NFS), and provides open interface for third-party software development kits (SDK); and 4) NOS uses remote monitoring and debugging for optimum system operation.
