National Development and Reform Commission on June 2, 2015 issued a notification, saying Yunnan Provincial Communications Administration (YPCA) led four telecom operators to reach an agreement on the presented scope, amplitude, frequency, etc. and required them to execute through issuing rectification notices and other compulsory means to restrict the operators' competitiveness and means. In this regard, YPCA conducted a rectification and stopped relevant practices and fined a total of CNY 13.18 million on the Yunnan branches of China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom and China Railcom.

China Mobile Limited reported un-audited earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. The company reported net profit attributable to shareholders decreased 5.6% year on year to RMB 23.8 billion compared to RMB 25.2 billion, EBITDA increased 2.8% from a year earlier to RMB 59.2 billion compared to RMB 57.6 billion and operating revenue reached RMB 160.9 billion in the first three months, 3.9% more than RMB 154.8 billion reported in the same period of last year.
Huawei and China Mobile Launch Software-Defined Clock Network

Huawei and China Mobile have released a software-defined Clock Network service. The platform is designed to provide centralized control and automated management of clock synchronization networks. The service automatically computes, plans and provisions the clock paths based on the overall physical network topology, in an attempt to eliminate the risks associated with manual planning. The embedded algorithm can compute and plan a clock network with tens of thousands of nodes in a few minutes, without introducing synchronization loops. The platform also provides performance monitoring, assessment, optimization and trouble-shooting options.
