Cherokee Global Brands has entered into a license agreement with NTD Apparel Inc. for Everyday California brand. This agreement provides NTD Apparel the rights to manufacture and sell Everyday California in certain apparel and accessory categories for adults and kids. The distribution will include specialty and department store retailers as well as resorts throughout the US and Canada.
Cherokee Global Brands Announces Launch of New Lifestyle Brand

Cherokee Global Brands has announced the launch of a new lifestyle brand, Point Cove California Clothing Company. Point Cove, developed in-house by the Cherokee Global Brands design team, is a colorful, fun lifestyle brand targeting kids ages two to fourteen that delivers a combination of playful sophistication to fashion, trend-right clothing, footwear, accessories and home offerings. Point Cove embraces the California spirit and each product embodies the brand's "Chase Your Dreams" essence. Bright colors and fun embellishments combine to deliver Point Cove's unique California point-of-view. The debut will be followed by a full in-store launch of the brand at 109 Reliance Trends stores throughout India this August.

Cherokee Global Brands Reports Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended May 2, 2015

Cherokee Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended May 3, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported revenues of $10,230,000 compared with $9,960,000 in the prior-year period. Operating income was $5,790,000 against $5,166,000 a year ago. Income before provision for income taxes was $5,614,000 against $4,925,000 a year ago. Net income totaled $3,571,000, or $0.41 per basic and diluted share, compared with $3,592,000, or $0.43 per basic and diluted share a year ago. The improvement in revenue is primarily attributable to increased sales from Cherokee-branded products at international retailers and increases with other brands. Cash flow from operations was $2.2 million for the first quarter of 2016 compared to cash used in operations of $0.3 million for the prior year period.
