Jan 27 15
361 Degrees International Limited announce that the Company has recently launched four designs of smart shoes for children jointly developed with Baidu on the 361 Degrees' Kids Smart Shoes official website. This is the first digital smart product jointly developed by 361 Degrees and Baidu, since both companies entered into a strategic cooperation agreement in September 2014. Adopting Baidu's technology, this series of kids smart shoes is the first wearable device of the company and one of the earliest in the market, and is equipped with Baidu Hawkeye technology and LBS open platform services of Baidu Map, which offers accurate position monitoring. For the first time, the authorized access of Baidu Map gives 361 Degrees Kids smart shoes mature positioning technology, speeding up the locating process and reducing errors, thus providing an excellent "anti-lost" feature to the product. At the same time, Baidu Hawkeye and Wi-Fi positioning functions serve as the fundamental solution to the indoor location problem of other anti-lost products and eliminate blind spots. In addition, this series of kids smart shoes takes full advantage of the interconnectivity between Baidu Big Data and Baidu Map without time and location limits, providing an invisible security zone for children through data acquisition and analysis. It will send out alerts once the child leaves the area under monitor. Another key characteristic of this series of kids smart shoes is the wireless charging technology. The charging plate transmits energy to the receiving coil through inductive coupling, allowing fast and convenient wireless charging. The child only needs to place the pair of shoes onto the charging plate to charge the shoes. This is different from other smart devices for children on the market which require the supervision of parents. In addition, the 361 Degrees Kids Smart Shoes can monitor the child's health by combining Baidu's tracker with its big data. The data gets uploaded daily onto the Baidu health cloud, and according to the health cloud's information library of the health conditions of millions of children, a scientific program will provide tailored and professional health advice as well as exercise suggestions.
