Komatsu America Corp. marked 30 years in Chattanooga on Friday at its factory where it has invested about $100 million over the decades, officials said. Bruce Nelson, the Signal Mountain Road plant's general manager, said the factory that builds excavators and forestry machinery has 370 employees who focus on safety, quality, delivery and costs.
