This is the percentage of NYSE stocks that closed above their 200 day moving average price line. The composite used for the calculation is NYZ Index. Effective 6/26/03, the base index used in the calculation was changed from NYA Index to NYZ Index to keep the calculations consistent as the NYA Index was only introduced in January 2003. July 2002 to June 26, 2003 data has been revised as a result. Effective 12/15/03, the base index used in the calculation was changed from NYZ Index to NYA Index as the NYZ Index is no longer supported by NYSE and we are not able to get the daiy pricing data.
