This index measures the percentage of the reported earnings above the Bloomberg estimates. The Bloomberg estimate is the average of analysts' estimates. For example, {IBM US EEB }. The daily data reports the earnings for the S&P500 companies during the earnings season. It is updated daily to reflect the new earnings reported.
