South Africa - Business Confidence Index (BCI) Source: South Africa Chamber of Business A composite index tracking the performance of thirteen key economic indicators that have been judged by business to have the greatest bearing on the business mood. The index was revised in January 1998 to a 1995 base year. The BCI is a market related index that reflects what business decision makers are saying, doing and experiencing.
